At the conclusion of this session, the participant will be able to:

This is a half day course that consists of didactic lectures and hands-on stations. The focus is primarily on transthoracic ultrasonography. The topics include ultrasound diagnosis of lung tumor, application of color Doppler ultrasound in thoracic disease & technique for echo-guided transthoracic needle aspiration and biopsy. The hands-on stations will include models and phantoms that can provide practicing how to perform ultrasound-guided aspiration biopsy technique.
